Imagine Salman Khan's too-hot-to-handle abs. And now imagine it in 3D. Beating the other Khans, Salman has now decided to go three dimensional in his next film Sher Khan.
"First of all I am not playing Tarzan in the film and it has got nothing to do with the character at all. It is an adventure film based in a jungle," clarified Salman Khan about his next endeavour with his brother Sohail.
While he dismisses any link to the famous man of the jungle in Sher Khan, the brothers are reportedly toying with the idea of making the film in 3D.
Our source told us, "It is Sohail's idea to make it in 3D. However, Salman bhai is still in two minds about this. Shooting in 3D is very difficult and going by the standards of special effects expected these days, the Khan brothers want everything to be sorted before they take the final call.
However, Sohail is quite confident given his technical finesse. He is known to be very hands-on, as far as his films are concerned. Plus the film is a jungle adventure and so it will be fun watching the film, if it is in 3D."
When asked about his scepticism to make the film in 3D, Salman explained, "As far as 3D goes, I am not sure. We are definitely thinking about it. However, 3D films have not worked in India and I am not too sure about its market."
When contacted, Sohail said, "I am still working on the script and only after the script develops, we will decide if it has 3D scope or not."
The historical fascination with 3D in India dates back to the release of James Cameron's action- adventure sci-fi, Avatar, in 2009. The stereoscopic film was a breakthrough in cinematic technique and so ever since then, Bollywood filmmakers have been eager to follow suit.
While most of the 3D projects have fallen through, two have managed to go as planned. Vikram Bhatt's Haunted, which released on April 15, is India's first next generation stereoscopic 3D film. And Shirish Kunder's Joker is the next 3D film to be released.
Considering the professional roll that Sallu has been on, we wonder if Sohail will let his brother take the final call.

Asin's sexy transformation!
Now, now, look at this actress' transformation over the years. When Asin attended the audio launch of one of her biggest films till date, Dasavatharam, in the presence of international celebrities like Jackie Chan, she came along in a traditional and simple salwar kameez.
A few years later, after her Bollywood dreams (in the form of London Dreams) went kaput, the actress – in Chennai for a press meet for her Vijay-starrer Kaavalan, went in for yet another 'homely' avatar; in the form of a simple salwar kameez.
However, when she made an appearance at the audio launch of her upcoming flick Ready, the actress – who will romance Salman Khan – went in for a short-and-sexy sheath dress. Insiders at the event that was held in Mumbai were heard ranting about how uncomfortable the actress was in the dress and how she should stick to what's comfortable with her. We wonder what Asin has to say to this...

Sonakshi isn't my best friend: Zarine
To a girl looking in from the outside, being labelled a Katrina Kaif doppelganger would be a compliment worthy to boost a young lady's self-esteem for quite sometime.
But for Salman's protégé Zarine Khan, who has been trying to recover from her debut in the box-office flop Veer, it has been more of a bane in her professional life.
The actress revealed, "You know after the release of Veer, I was lost. The film did not do as well as expected and I was not getting big offers.
Only new directors were approaching me. Then, there were all these comparisons about me being a Katrina Kaif look-alike and how I would eventually disappear like Sneha Ullal.
I was very insecure and had no film background. However, it's been over a year and with work coming in, I have been able to dispel all talks about me disappearing. However, now I have to shed one more issue and that's being a Katrina look alike."
The uncanny resemblance to Kaif has funnily enough made people believe Zarine too is from the UK. And with her British background being spread with conviction she is rumoured to have difficulty speaking Hindi. However, Zarine set the record straight, as she said, "There is this misconception that I am from UK and I am 26-27 years old.
The fact is I have been born and raised in Bombay and I am just 23 years old. I don't know why everyone feels that I can't speak Hindi. I cannot only speak Hindi but also Marathi and that too fluently. Mujhe koi problem nahi hai. I just hope that once and for all, it is clear."
Also, having a Dabangg Khan in your corner comes with the difficult task of dealing with the other ladies in his life, who are competing for his attention. Just recently, we heard how Sonakshi, green with envy, pushed Zarine at one of Salman's parties.
Zarine, the diplomat, laughed and simply said, "I don't think anyone needs to be insecure as Salman gives attention to everyone.
I won't say that Sonakshi is my best friend. We don't go out for coffee and have long conversations, however, there is no bad blood. When the news came out, Sonakshi smsed me and all is fine."
Although, she is happy with the attention Salman gives her, he has not been the only man to have catapulted Zarine's career. Contrary to popular belief, it was Sajid Naidawala and not Salman who offered her the role in Housefull 2.
Incidentally, Zarine's aunt and Sajid's sister have been friends for 20 years. Zarine said, "Sajid has practically seen me growing up. My aunt used to stay in the same building. However I started interacting with Sajid only after I joined the film industry."
With all the criticism she received for being overweight in Veer, the actress is all geared up to reveal her enviable look in Housefull 2.
She excitedly said, "Everybody wrote me off. People said I was very overweight but no one understood that I had to gain weight for the film. However, I had to really work hard to get back to what I am today.
The results are now to be seen. Now, with Housefull 2, I will be able to surprise people. I am work out twice a day and follow a strict diet."

Yes I met Somy Ali: Salman
Post two consecutive money rakers Wanted and Dabangg, one would expect Salman Khan to now start having those starry airs. Looks like, he couldn't be bothered less.
While people may think that whom they see is a new, more focused, serious Salman, the star himself feels, "Stardom and all is bakwaas. I am and always will be the same. The only thing that has probably changed in me is that I have learnt to say 'No'."
Salman, who always stood by his friends, has now realised that even friends deserve to be told 'No' when required. "Gone are the days when I used to make a film and say 'chalta hai, sets pe dekh lenge, kuch bana denge' to friends who did not have a script. Give me a good script and I will do it," explains the actor.
However, the star sure has learnt to say a 'yes' to media. Salman, who never promoted his own films, did so for Wanted. And for his forthcoming film Ready, he has even designed the promotional events.
The actor who brought a graffiti covered bus to an event of the film recently, still chose to deny his new media savvy avatar, "I am bakofying, and you are chapoying. It's the release of my film. I am doing my job and you are doing yours. Solves the purpose for both of us."
With a lot of expectations pinned on Ready after the success of his last two films, the media promotion is understandable. "I just hope we stand up to the expectations. Everybody starts off wanting to make a successful film," says the actor.
Ready, the film has had its fair share of controversies as well. The fight between Salman and Anees Bazmee for instance. "It is all bulls***. he came back for the post production of Thank You. There is no fight," states Salman.
But then, one would wonder why he never chose to refute them? Was that too a part of the publicity? "Why should I clear rumours? It just takes my thumb to deny all rumours on Twitter. But I choose not to," declares Sallu bhai.
Leaving films aside, there have been constant speculations about his personal life as well. His meeting with ex-girlfriend Somy Ali hit the headlines a little over a month back. "Yes, I met her. She is my friend like many others.
They come to my house doesn't mean I am having an affair with them," says Sallu and adds, clearing the air about Kangna, "Kangna too, is my friend. She is very sweet."
Though, Salman understands how to be diplomatic about the women in his life, one thing he still hasn't learnt is the business of making a film, unlike his peers Aamir, Shah Rukh or Saif. "I don't want to understand the business.
Sohail does and so does my father. It will probably take me five minutes but if I understand, I will spend hours every day thinking about it. I am happy this way," reveals the actor.

Munni is my favorite: Yana
Yaana Gupta, who is often in the news for various controversies, denies rumors about her relationship with Salman Khan (Jhalak Dikhlaja 4 co-star) and offer from a magazine to pose nude.
Yaana will be seen in her latest item song 'Laila Main Laila' from the film Chalo Dilli (which released on Friday). She also happens to replace Bipasha Basu in an item song from the film Murder 2. Excerpts:
Your latest item song 'Laila Main Laila' is making listeners groove. How does it feel to be back?
I feel very excited about it and I am grooving myself.
What do you think of the original song? Which one do you find better?
I am attached to the new one as I am a part of it. The original song has obviously been a hit in the past and I am happy that I got an opportunity to be associated with such a classic song.
Amongst 'Munni' and 'Sheila', which one is your favorite?
Munni is my favorite. I prefer its music.
How do you rate yourself as an item girl?
I wouldn't try to rate myself but improve and become better each time.
Do you want to continue to have the tag of an item girl?
I don't mind.
You are in the news more often for the controversies rather than work. Does it help in getting work?
I don't think it helps in getting work, but what does help getting work is being Professional, talented and that is what I focus on.
There are many rumors floating about you dating Salman Khan ( Jhalak Dikhlaja co-star). Could you please clarify?
I have been saying the truth all along but I suppose no one seems to be satisfied with it. I am being asked the same question over and over again. All I can say is I am not interested and I have never been.
You are living in India for long but are not yet an Indian citizen. Please comment.
My soul is Indian. I don't think I need a paper My soulor a document to make me a citizen.
Is it true you got an offer to pose nude from a British magazine?
I wish!
You shot for another item song- Aa Zara Kareeb Se ( Murder 2 )...wasn't Bipasha Basu the first choice?
I heard so!
When can we see you act in films?
As soon as I get an offer to act and not just pose in a bikini.
Are you going to be a part of any new reality show in the near future?
Not as yet.
What do you do when you're not working?
Give interviews (smiles).

Salman Khan (Sallu) to steal Ranbir's girl?
Ranbir Kapoor and Salman Khan have history. The RK boy began dating Khan's girl Katrina Kaif two years ago.
The romance began on the sets of their film Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani (and continued during Raajneeti). Will history repeat itself? It is learnt that Salman now wants to romance RK's girl Nargis Fakhri.
Towards the end of the year, Salman Khan will get into the super-hero garb for his younger brother Sohail Khan's film titled Sher Khan (and not Tarzan) as reported. Sohail has worked on the script of this film for a long time and it is wildly exciting, say sources. Even as the girls — Katrina Kaif, Sonakshi Sinha and others start lining up for the role of Sher Khan's leading lady, trade sources indicate that Salman may team up with the Rockstar girl Nargis Fakhri.

Salman-Asin kiss inspired by Ash
The much-talked about Salman Khan-Asin kiss in 'Ready' is seemingly similar to the one in 'Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam'.
Salman Khan's kissing act in Ready seems to be creating waves. Firstly the actor will be seen kissing onscreen after ages. And now comes the news that the kissing scene is pretty much similar to what he did to Aishwarya Rai in Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam .
In Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam , Salman offers a peck on Ash's cheek while she is pretty much unaware. The same is the case in Ready when Salman plants a kiss on Asin's cheeks while she is oblivious of the act.
If the Salman-Ash chemistry is anything to go by, seems like the Salman-Asin chemistry will be as much sensational.

Salman Khan disguises, walks Colaba streets
Salman Khan in Bodyguard
Salman Khan managed to walk through the crowded streets of South Mumbai for a scene in his film, without being noticed.
Remember how Aamir Khan had shot a sequence in Dhobi Ghat amidst the crowded Mohammed Ali Street in Mumbai with the people around him being completely unaware of his presence. Now Salman Khan has done something similar for his next film Bodyguard .
Just last week the crew of Bodyguard shot a sequence with Salman Khan walking across Colaba streets and Flora Fountain area during peak office hours. This area in South Mumbai is supposed to be one of the most crowded places but Salman Khan managed to walk through the streets without being noticed and creating hullabaloo.
Says a source associated with the film, "Salman Khan had no security around him which could have controlled the crowd in case they had noticed the superstar. And considering Salman's mass-appeal, it would have created a commotion. However the team took the risk of shooting in actual location with real crowd rather than junior artists, to get a realistic feel to the scene and was successful in their attempt". Special hidden cameras were installed atop surrounding buildings to capture the sequence.

Zarine's still on Sallu's radar!
Once a Salman protege, always a Salman protege. If you thought that he had forgotten Zarine Khan who he had launched in Veer, you have another thing coming.
She still reaches out to him whether she needs advice/help. And yes, he is guiding her career and has been instrumental in her meeting with key people in the industry. The girl is now starring in his buddy Sajid Nadiadwala's Housefull 2 and has also done an item number in Salman Khan's Ready.
Clearly she managed to get these movies only because he is trying to help her find her feet in the industry after her dud-ly debut. Salman can't help but help out these girls. But Zarine is misreading his goodness and is totally fida over him. She has been telling the world how much she adores Salman and how without him she would be a nowhere. Wow, she figured that out!

Sallu, Aamir not in Andaz Apna Apna sequel?
The cult comedy starring Salman Khan, Aamir Khan, Karishma Kapoor and Raveena Tandon will soon have a sequel.
However, the second instalment will not have any scope for the lead stars. Talking on the sidelines of FICCI FRAMES 2011 conclave, Sidhartha M Jain or iRock Productions revealed, "We have plans underway for Andaz Apna Apna sequel. Unlike the original that was live action, the sequel will be an animation film. This is the first time in India that such a thing is happening."
When asked about the involvement of Salman and Aamir in the sequel, Jain said, "We are still looking for a director for the second instalment and once that is finalised we'll talk to Salman and Aamir to voice the characters. If that doesn't materialise, we will go for other alternatives. But for now the idea is to have the Khans on board," he signed off.

Sohail to direct Partner 2?
After Arbaaz Khan taking charge of Dabangg sequel as a director, now Sohail Khan might direct the Partner sequel.
Recently Salman's brother Arbaaz Khan confirmed that he will be directing the sequel of Dabangg , one of Salman's biggest hits in recent times. And now, if sources in the trade circuit are to be believed, Salman's other brother Sohail Khan might be directing the sequel of another of his biggest hits in recent times – Partner .
Partner 2 has been in news for quite some time. Sanjay Dutt was said to be added to the cast. But if sources are to be believed, the scripts that David Dhawan had got in for the sequel did not interest Salman much. So probably Sohail Khan, who was the producer of the first part (like Arbaaz Khan was for Dabangg ) might take the directorial reins. It seems like Salman Khan is going out of his way to resurrect his brother's careers.
Before turning actor, Sohail Khan was a successful director and had made four films including Pyaar Kiya To Darna Kya, Hello Brother, Auzaar and Maine Dil Tujhko Diya .

'Joker' is being shot in Chandigarh for a while now, and the movie starring Akshay Kumar and Sonakshi Sinha has been in the news constantly. Being directed by Shirish Kunder, there were talks that Katrina Kaif and Salman Khan would be making a special appearance together in this flick. It was touted that they would do a special dance number for it.
With Katrina having been the main lead for Farah Khan's 'Tees Maar Khan' and with her 'Sheila Ki Jawani' number having become a craze, news spread like rapid fire that Shirish and wife Farah were keen that Kat make an appearance in 'Joker'. Also, Farah Khan's close proximity to Salman (they are good friends) is well known. And the potential of Salman being a part of this venture isn't too far-fetched either.
The world now believes that Salman and Katrina will groove to a song together in 'Joker'. However, sources close to the actress say that the above news is just speculation. We are told, "Since Farah is close to both Katrina and Salman, people are assuming that she'll approach the two for a song. Nothing has come forth yet. As of the moment, Katrina isn't dancing with Salman to any number in 'Joker'."

Media-celebrities go hand in hand: Katrina
From her break-up with Salman Khan to her link-up with Ranbir Kapoor, Katrina Kaif's personal life is constantly under the scanner.
The British-born actress says the unrelenting attention does affect her sometimes but she has learnt to cope with the pressures."We are human beings and sometimes it does affect us especially when so much is being said and written that doesn't make sense. But one learns and I have also learnt to cope with it," Katrina told in an interview over the phone from Mumbai.
"I have learnt that media and celebrities go hand in hand and now I don't feel the need to clarify my stance and I am not bothered. Audiences have also become mature and they also understand what is right and what is wrong," added the 26-year-old.
The actress has no films scheduled for immediate release, but will be seen in a new LUX soap ad to promote its new range - Lux Fresh Splash.
This year, her first release will be in June with Zoya Akhtar's " Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara", also starring Hrithik Roshan, Abhay Deol, Farhan Akhtar and Kalki Koechlin. After that she will be seen in "Mere Brother Ki Dulhan".
Katrina was introduced into the Hindi film industry with "Boom" in 2003, but the first hit came only four years later with " Maine Pyaar Kyun Kiya". Her career zoomed with "Namastey London", in which she teamed up with Akshay Kumar, released in the same year.
Some of of her big box office hits are "Partner", "Welcome" and "Singh Is Kinng". Her item number "Sheila Ki Jawani" from Farah Khan's "Tees Maar Khan" has got perhaps the maximum publicity, but Katrina has also forayed into meaningful cinema with " New York" and "Rajneeti".
Asked whether she is a director's actor, Katrina said: "Every actor is a director's actor. It's the director who helps the actor in bringing the character alive on screen and then there is the script to support. It is part and parcel of the profession."
As her career skyrockets, expectations have also become higher and Katrina admits to some nervousness.
"If you lose that nervousness or anticipation that means you have reached a saturation point which is the worst thing for any actor. For me, it is important that I live up to the expectations of my fans and I don't let them down."
So does Katrina fear failure?
"Fear is something that drives you to do good work and it is important for a person to maintain a positive attitude and keep on doing good work," she said.
With films, endorsements, performances and media appearances crowding her to-do-list, the actress admits she sometimes finds it difficult to cope with the hectic work life.
"Sometimes it becomes difficult to stay calm, cool; and with a busy schedule I do get tired, but it's part of our job. I keep doing things that help me to relax. I do things that rejuvenate me, things that give me extra help," she said.
