Well, don't blame us for creating trouble in this paradise; the lady herself admits that she's not wife material.

Yeah, she confessed this exclusively to zoOm, and surprisingly hubby, Mahesh wasn't broken-hearted about his lovely wife's comment. That's what we call a true sport, eh? Now, jokes apart, here is Lara's real confession. During an interview Lara was quizzed about her maiden venture, not her shaadi dearies, we're talking about her newly launched production house.

She admitted, "I don't want to play SRK's wife or Akshay's girlfriend anymore." On the same breath she said, "It's just that in our business, there's a serious dearth of roles for women. And invariably, a heroine is clad in fancy costumes, great make-up and hair extensions and is reduced to dancing in a film where the song becomes a big hit. I have done umpteen number of those myself. And the heroines are either being subjected to being hero's wife or girlfriend." Hmnnn...we're sure the other beauties have heard that. Now we're waiting for their take...

Lara Dutta talks about her married life

Bangalore, March 11 -  Lara Dutta and Mahesh Bhupathi got hitched on 16th of February in Mumbai, they had registered marriage on that day, and on 19th of February, they got wedded in Goa, in a Victorian style, which was a lavish affair. The Christian style wedding took place at the Sunset Venue in Taj Aguada. Dressed in a white Ellie Saab Gown, Lara looked adorable; while Bhuapthi was sporting a black and white tuxedo.

 

After marriage, Mrs Bhupathi says that to have equilibrium between home and career is a difficult act. She has played the role of a housewife in films, but she did not quite realise the fact until she got married for real. She added that even though the task of maintaining a balance between home and her work is the hardest job, yet she is enjoying her married life a lot. Celebs don’t let the problems come to sight, but its true that she loves both her home and her work, and thus will have to work too hard on both these territories.

Not even a month has passed by, Lara-Mahesh got married, but Lara has become too busy with her work at home as well as on her professional assignments. She is shooting for “Don 2″ and working on her production debut “Chalo Dilli”. Apart from these two, Mrs Bhuapathi is going to launch a fitness DVD.

Lara Dutta’s second innings

From launching her second yoga DVD to completing Don 2 and her home production, Lara Dutta seems busy post marriage. 

Marriage hasn't made Lara Dutta homebound. In fact the actress has become more active and busy post marriage. Currently shooting for Farhan Akhtar's ' Don 2 ', Lara is back in Bangalore for the launch of her second yoga DVD.

"I am in Bangalore to launch the 2nd DVD in the 'H.E.A.L with Lara' series," said the actress, who will be flying back to Langkawi, Malaysia on the same day to join ' Don 2 ' team again.

Unlike other newly married couples, Lara and Mahesh got back to their respective responsibilities rather than going on a prolonged honeymoon. Lara also completed her first home production ' Chalo Dilli ' which is expected to release before ' Don 2 '. This will be her first release after marriage.
